Christmas In July Challenge!!!!

This weeks Challenge is Christmas in July! Create a recipe card with a favorite Holiday recipe using Holiday colors.  We have some yummy recipes to share with you this week! If you want to read the recipe off the cards  just click on the recipe picture to enlarge it. Happy Cooking!
This is a recipe card I created for a Christmas Recipe swap I am participating in on SCS. Gooey butter cookies are divine! It's an easy recipe that always impresses at parties or as a gift. The paper is from Glitz Design and The stamp is a House Mouse stamp. All materials used can be found at scrapbookstoreatyourdoor.com. I will be adding a large selection of food related papers, brads and stamps in the next month so keep clicking in (:

This beautiful card was made by Kathleen. I am going to add this recipe to my holiday list! This sweet little penguin is a Stampin Up stamp.
This yummy card was made by Lauri. I love how she added a Christmas ball to the martini glass and used red ribbon to draw attention to the recipe. Beautiful card! click on this picture to view the recipe.
This card was also created by Lauri. For more details on her recipe cards please visit her Blog.
For me, Christmas is all about the baking! Even in the summer, when I bake cookies, or smell cookies baking in my kitchen, I immediately think of Christmas. I am sharing three of my favorite cookie recipes today, all of which are cookies from my childhood.

*Let us know what you think!!!! Please link your Christmas in July Recipe Card back and leave a link on our comments! Happy Cooking!

Howdy! I'm just wondering by what day your challenges need to be completed by? Are you doing them every Monday? They look like a lot of fun, and I love making recipe cards. I usually do 8x8 though so they fit in my SEI expanding albums. Will check back soon.
